Hidden Browser in Windows XP



Did you know that there is a simple browser hidden in Windows XP ?
perhaps you need them some time if IE crashes.

                                                                                  
1 - Open the Calculator

Start –> All Programs –> Acessories –> Calculator

2 - Click on the Help tab –> Help Topics

3 - Click on the question mark in the far left   –>  Jump to URL…

4 - Then type the location that you want in the box.
 like:


Don't forget to supply the “http://” part


5 - Click on OK.

Congratulations you have now a simple browser, it's suffice!

Just to let you know,this "secret" browser is just a shortcut to Internet Explorer,it wont work when IE has crashed and is not practical because of the small window.If you REALLY wanna do this,then open IE itself,because this is just a shortcut to IE6.If it wasnt IE the browser of the help page then what could it possibly be?Does Microsoft have to bundle an extra browser just to load the help webpage?This is cool but not practical,making this post pointless.
