Edit the name of your processor & Deceiving your friends!
Do you have a low processor or one of middle class, and you want to trick your friends or anyone that you have processors for breaking the habit?
The steps:
1 - Click on Start
2 - Click on Run
3 - then type this command :

3 - then type this command :
regedit
4 - Then click on OK.
5 - We are now in the registry editor , Then Follow the path :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> HARDWARE –>discription –>System –> Cen tralProcessor –> 0Click on the 0 folder.
OR
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> HARDWARE –>discription –> System –> Cen tralProcessor –> 1
Click on the 1 folder.
OR
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> HARDWARE –>discription –> System –> Cen tralProcessor
6 - locate this string value:
ProcessorNameString
7 - Change the value string keys with any name of processor you like!
Examples:
Intel Core2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.00GHz
Intel Xeon W3690 @ 3.47GHz
Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.10GHz
To make sure :
Right click on My computer icon –> Properties
For me I have turned the name of my processors to the Intel Core i7 995X @ 3.60GHz , one of the most powerful processors in our time! (I wish gutted )
